High Voltage has produced our own PEEK /Carbon gear to replace the stock Nylon reduction gear in the BBSHD. The gear is an upgrade to the stock Nylon gear allowing the BBSHD to be pushed that bit further as the PEEK/Carbon is tougher and more heat resistant than Nylon. This machined in America component uses high quality AMGT P5 bearings, 304 stainless screws, 7075 aluminum insert, and a precision machined Carbon/PEEK gear. 50g lighter than the competition which makes for a faster revving rotor. Great for field weakening! Please note that this does not make your BBSHD indestructible and sensible gear ratios are always recommended. This is primarily aimed at people using our upgrade kit with the BAC855. Do not add grease to the center one way bearing to prevent slipping when adding lots of power like with our HV kit. We recommend using Mobil SCH100 for the outer gear and remaining BBSHD gears. Install with screws facing down.
