PEEK Gear Installation Guide
This is a guide to the installation of the PEEK replacement for the Nylon gear. Although if geared correctly the Nylon gear can be protected, the PEEK gear is tougher while also not creating excess noise which is the case with the Steel replacement gear. PEEK Gear Install
This is how to remove the Nylon Gear and install the PEEK replacement gear in the reduction housing. Take your time. On older motors the screw type bolts can strip.

Listen to the raw sound of the Metal replacement gear in the BBSHD. I think it sounds pretty decent! But not really if you are going for quiet!
