BAC2000 Tube Frame Mount - REWIRE NEEDED!
This is the final version of this mount for tube framed bikes.
The cutout and panels are sized to fit the diameter and shape of your downtube. Part of the reason for the higher price is that it takes a lot of work to make sure this will work with your frame as best as possible.
I am able to make modifications to the overall design to take into account things like brake and gear cables. The Blue and Black mount in the picture has some unique work to lift up the X1 motor away from the frame slightly and allow a brake cable to pass along the center of the tube.
Custom color detailing is available on request to make the mount really pop. There is not getting away from the box like nature of the ASI but we can hide the orange and blue with something nice!
It adds only 4cm to the length of the BAC2000
Secures to the frame with two 120lb test UV stable Zip or Cable ties. Can accept a metal tie as well. Zip ties included.
Fully encloses the wiring looms and connections.
Allows for silicone to be used for a full seal
Cutouts are provide to channel and secure the phase and harness wires in place and keep the neat and tidy. Use zip ties to secure the forward heading wires.
Includes a set of Molex Plugs and Pins which will be required in most cases in order to mount the controller this close to the frame.
*** Please note that you will need to do some rewiring or at least get someone to do this job for you in order to change the molex plugs from the originals to the plugs supplied with this kit ***
