Ender 3 V2
The ender 3 is a really good place to start with 3D printing as it will force you to learn the ropes. It has tons of potential for modifications. My original Ender 3 I am in the process of modifying it to increase the build plate to 400 x 400. The ender produced good prints and is very well known and loved in the 3D printing community.
Prusa Mini+
The Prusa Mini is an ideal entry level machine for someone who is more interested in just making great prints as a hobby. It is reliable and of excellent quality. Straight out of the box you can be printing a wide range of materials in a matter of hours. With a hardened nozzle you can also print some exotic materials thanks to the high temp range of both the bed and nozzle.
Prusa i3 MK3s+
The i3 is a seriously capable 3D printer and is possibly the very best bang for buck you can get. Print quality is excellent and there are many features that mean the i3 is super reliable and easy to use such as auto bed levelling and the flexible steel sheet. The Prusa online community is excellent as is their customer support.
Prusa Filaments
There is a lot of choice of 3D filament and not all are equal. I used Prusa filaments because they are really well dialed in with the Prusa machines I use. Their shipping is great.
